USTA Coaching offers two specialized workshops to enhance your on-court expertise

 

Play Facilitator Workshop (3.5 hours): Perfect for new coaches ready to guide beginner players through their first tennis experiences. Learn essential techniques for creating positive, engaging environments that build confidence from day one.

 

Coaching Fundamentals Workshop (2 days): Designed for coaches working with beginner to intermediate players. Dive deep into progressive teaching methods, skill development strategies, and effective communication techniques that drive real results.

PLAY 

FACILITATOR WORKSHOPS

Dive deep into the USTA's American Development Model (ADM) as you embark on an exploration of the core principles that foster a joyful and athlete-centered environment: competence, confidence, connection, character and creativity.  Coaches will work on how to organize players and provide basic coaching in a group environment. This immersive experience will empower you to have a lasting impact on the tennis journeys of players at every age level.

COACHING FUNDAMENTALS WORKSHOPS


The USTA’s Coaching Fundamentals Workshop focuses on coaching principles and building skills to teach beginner to intermediate players of all ages.  Coaches will work on how to organize, manage and coach players in a group environment building upon the USTA’s ADM framework. 

 

Once you’re registered, the Coach Learning Center can help you on your coaching journey, and is home to a suite of tools, workshops, and resources.
