WHAT CAN USTA COACHING DO FOR ME?

How do I register a school PE tennis program?

Navigate to the PE Program registration page and complete the registration. No payment or Stripe checkout is required — a baseline package is automatically provisioned when you submit. You'll receive a confirmation email once your registration is complete.

Which email address should I use to register?

You should use the teacher email address that is connected with the school you teach at. This ensures your registration is correctly linked to your school and that confirmation emails and renewal reminders reach you through your institutional account.

What number of students should I include when registering?

You should enter the total number of students in your school's population when completing the registration form — not just the students participating in your PE tennis program. This figure is used for program planning and equipment allocation purposes.

How long does a PE program registration last?

PE program registrations are valid for 3 years from the date you register. You'll receive a reminder email 30 days before your registration expires so you have time to renew. After renewal, a unique coupon code will be emailed to you for equipment purchases in the USTACoaching.com online store.

What's the difference between a new, renewed, and updated school registration?

A new registration is for a school signing up with USTA for the first time. A renewed registration applies when a school has previously registered and is reactivating after their prior registration expired. An updated registration refers to changes made to an existing active registration — such as updating your School Partner, PE teacher contact, or other program details.

Can I register PE programs at multiple schools?

You can register programs at multiple schools, but you cannot have more than one active PE program registration at the same school. If you attempt to register a second program at a school where you already have an active registration, the system will prevent submission and display an error.

Will my school receive free equipment?

Yes. When you complete your PE program registration, an equipment order is automatically routed to the USTA Coaching Fulfillment Center. The equipment package (elementary or middle/high school) is determined by the school level you select during registration. Only one equipment kit is fulfilled per school, even if multiple educators register programs at the same location. Order tracking and shipping updates are managed by the USTA fulfillment team.

How do I find and invite a School Partner coach?

During registration, you can search the School Partner Directory directly within the form to select a partner. You can also invite a partner after registration from your program dashboard. Search by coach name or location (city, state, or zip code within 50 miles). Once you send an invitation, the coach will receive an email with a link to accept or decline. Your program can have one confirmed partner at a time.

What happens if my invited coach declines?

If a coach declines your invitation, you can send a new invitation to a different School Partner. Your dashboard will show the status of all sent invitations — Pending, Accepted, or Declined — and you can re-invite from the same view. You can also remove a confirmed partner at any time and invite a new one.

Where can I manage my PE programs and school teams in one place?

Your profile includes a 'My Schools' section with three tabs: My PE Classes (all PE programs you've registered), My School Teams (school team programs associated with your account), and School Partners (current and past partner connections).

What is a School Partner?

A School Partner is an out-of-school-hours organization or qualified USTA coach that provides tennis programming to support school PE and after-school programs. School Partners appear in a searchable directory on USTACoaching.com and can be invited by school coordinators to partner with their program.

Who is eligible to become a School Partner?

To register as a School Partner, you must have an active USTA Coaching membership (not expired, cancelled, or suspended) and a current SafeSport approval. If either condition is not met, you'll see a status screen explaining which requirement needs to be resolved before you can proceed with registration.

How do I register as a School Partner?

Click 'Become a School Partner' from your dashboard banner or the onboarding wizard. The system will first verify your eligibility (USTA Coaching membership + SafeSport status). Once confirmed, you'll review and accept the School Partner Terms and Conditions inline, then submit your registration. Your profile will be listed in the School Partner Directory immediately upon approval.

How long does a School Partner registration last?

School Partner registrations are valid for 2 years from your registration date. A reminder email will be sent to you 30 days before expiration, with your section contact copied. The email includes a direct renewal link.

Will I appear in the School Partner Directory as soon as I register?

Yes, you'll be listed in the directory immediately after registration — as long as your SafeSport approval remains current. If your SafeSport status lapses, you'll be automatically removed from the directory until it's renewed. The directory shows your name, section, resolved location (based on your linked facility or profile address), and a SafeSport status badge.

How will I know if a school has invited me to be their partner?

You'll receive an email with a tokenized link to the invitation management page on USTACoaching.com. From there you can view all pending invitations and accept or decline each one individually. The link is single-use and expires once you take action.

What happens when I accept a school's invitation?

When you accept, an equipment fulfillment order is automatically routed to the USTA Coaching Fulfillment Center on behalf of the school (subject to deduplication — if the school has already received equipment, no duplicate order is created). All parties receive a confirmation email, and your connection will appear in both your and the coordinator's 'My Schools' dashboard.

What is included in the equipment kit?

Each kit includes 36 felt tennis balls, 36 foam tennis balls, a set of racquets (either 21-inch or 23-inch depending on kit type), chalk, and barrier tape — all packaged in a large Net Generation roller bag.

What's the difference between primary and secondary equipment kits?

Primary kits include 21-inch racquets and are intended for younger or beginner players. Secondary kits include 23-inch racquets for older or more advanced students. The kit type assigned to your school is based on the school level you select during PE program registration.

What is the School Partner program?

The USTA School Partner program connects qualified USTA coaches with school PE teachers and team coordinators to support after-school tennis and youth PE programs. School Partners are vetted coaches who appear in a searchable directory and can be invited by school coordinators to support their programs. Both roles are managed through USTACoaching.com.

What is a section contact, and what role do they play?

A section contact is a USTA staff member assigned to your geographic USTA section. They're automatically notified when new PE programs or School Partners register in their section, when a school indicates it needs a partner, and when program statuses change. If you can't find a School Partner through the directory, your section contact may reach out to help connect you. (Add link to school partner pdf URL TBD)

How is location determined when searching the School Partner Directory?

The directory uses a facility-first approach: if a coach has linked facilities on their profile, those addresses are used as their location. If no facility is linked, the coach's profile address is used instead. Each result card shows which source the location is based on — facility name or profile address — so you know why a coach appeared for your search area. Location search covers a 50-mile radius from the city, state, or zip code you enter.

Can a school receive equipment more than once?

No. Only one equipment kit is fulfilled per school, regardless of how many users register PE programs at the same location or how many partner acceptances occur. The system checks for an existing order before creating a new one and suppresses any duplicates automatically. If your school has already received equipment, you'll see a notification confirming this.
